Surprise Proposal | Bok Tower Gardens
We've done engagement sessions before, but this one was a little different. Okay, a lot different! For one, Noah and Becky are two of our best friends! Noah was actually the best man in our wedding 8 years ago. And secondly, Becky had no idea she'd be having engagement photos on this night! Noah had been planning on proposing to Becky for a while, and he wanted us to be there to catch the moment on camera! So after a few weeks of planning and prepping, he finally decided to put the plan into motion on February 1, 2020! He had already spoken to her family, as well as his own and he was ready to ask Becky to be his wife.
We chose Bok Tower Gardens because he knew she'd love it there, and she had never been so he could make it seem like any old date day to begin with! He started off their day with taking Becky to have her nails done... Men, take note! Any girl will tell you she hopes her nails are looking good when that ring hits her finger! He then took her to lunch and then they made their way to Lake Wales where the big moment would happen!
We were hiding in bushes and constantly texting back and forth so Noah would know the exact place and spot to do it. We anxiously waited for them and finally heard their voices. In the most romantic way, under a big beautiful tree, Noah got down on one knee and proposed. Becky, spotting us and being in total shock, had the best reaction and of course said yes! We then wandered through the garden to capture a few more photos for them. It was definitely a night to remember. We love these two and can't wait for their big day!
